The City Assessor’s Office has long planned to enhance the real property tax administration system (RPTAS), in congruence to the increasing demand for real property assessments and in compliance to the Local Assessment Regulation (LAR) 1-04 issued by the Department of Finance – Bureau of Local Government Finance (DOF-BLGF).

From March 7 to 27, 2018, Amellar Solutions Inc., the system provider for real property tax administration system, provided series of discussions on the technical application of generating existing schedules in the database and tabulated the approved Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for Lands and Base Unit Construction Cost (BUCC) for Buildings.

Representatives from the Tax Mapping Operations Division, Appraisal Division, and Information Technology Unit were tapped to encode new and updated schedule of market values in the system.

Quality assurance measures were also employed to ensure compliance to LAR 1-04 issued by the DOF-BLGF.

The training itself for the new and enhanced real property tax administration system shall be conducted after the updating of schedule of market values, which will be participated by the personnel of this office.
